AgriRobust operates with zero tolerance for abuse, exploitation, harassment, or discrimination. This policy applies to all staff, consultants, partners, and anyone acting on behalf of AgriRobust.

Code of Conduct
All AgriRobust representatives must:
- Treat all people with dignity, respect, and equality
- Never engage in sexual activity with program participants
- Never request sexual favors or engage in exploitative behavior
- Never engage in physical, verbal, or psychological abuse
- Never discriminate based on gender, age, ethnicity, religion, disability, or any other status
- Report safeguarding concerns immediately
- Respect confidentiality and survivor-centered approaches
Reporting Mechanisms
Anyone can report a safeguarding concern through multiple channels:
Anonymous Hotline
Phone reports accepted in local languages (line details provided to program participants and staff)
In-Person
Trained safeguarding focal points in every program location
Investigation & Response
- All reports taken seriously and investigated promptly
- Survivor-centered, trauma-informed approach
- Confidentiality maintained (information shared only on need-to-know basis)
- Immediate protective measures when risk is identified
- Disciplinary action up to and including termination and legal referral
- Support services provided to survivors
Partner Standards
All implementing partners must:
- Have safeguarding policies aligned with international standards
- Conduct background checks on staff with participant contact
- Provide safeguarding training to all staff
- Report incidents to AgriRobust within 24 hours
- Cooperate fully with investigations
Training & Awareness
- Mandatory safeguarding training for all staff and partners
- Context-specific awareness sessions for program participants
- Regular refresher training and policy updates
- Clear grievance mechanisms communicated at program entry
